PC - Windows

We recommend that you have Windows Media Player installed for viewing our videos online. Click on a link below to download the latest version of Windows Media Player for your computer.

Mac - Macintosh OS X

We recommend that you have Flip for Mac (using QuickTime) installed for viewing our videos online. Click on a link below to download the latest version of Flip for Mac for your computer.

*Flip for Mac (Quick Time)

 

Once you have downloaded and installed Flip for Mac on your Macintosh computer, you will be able to open all of our videos by using Fllip for Mac. You will want to choose to have Flip for Mac as your default player for watching Windows Media Videos (.wmv). All of the Windows Media Videos will open up in your Quick Time Player each time you open a (.wmv).

The best broswer to use for watching our videos is Firefox. You can choose to have Firefox open all of the Windows Media Player videos (.wmv) using Flip for Mac.

 

Live Streaming Video

Simchat Torah Beit Midrash broadcasts our weekly services "Live" on the internet world-wide. You can connect to the live programs by going to our "Live Online Page"

If you are having problems connecting to our live online services please try the troubleshooting solutions below.

 

Streaming Video - PC

We are using Windows Media Player to broadcast our services online. Make sure you have the most current version of Windows Media Player installed on your computer. Your PC should be able to connect using your Windows Media Player. We broadcast our live services on Sabbath and Monday Nights. Please click here for details.

If your Windows Media Player will not connect, please follow these steps:

1. Open your Windows Media Player

2. Select "File"

3. Select "Open URL"

4. Type in - mms://66.250.123.38/livebroadcast

5. Click "Ok"

This should connect your Windows Media Player to our live service.

Streaming Video - Mac

We are using Windows Media Player to broadcast our services online. *Mac users will need to download a video converter called Flip for Mac to view our programming. Make sure you have the most current version of Flip for Mac software installed on your computer. We broadcast our live services on Sabbath and Monday Night's. Please click here for more details.

If your Mac (using QuickTime) will not connect to the online service, please follow these steps:

1. Open your Quick Time Player

2. Select "File"

3. Select "Open URL"

This should connect QuickTime to our live services.

Setup Firefox on your Mac

The best browser to use for watching our videos is Firefox. You can choose to have Firefox open all of the Windows Media Player videos (.wmv) using Flip for Mac.

1. Open your Firefox browser

2. Click on "Preferences"

3. Click on "Applications"

4. In the Search area type - mms (This will narrow the search to just mms)

5. Below the "Search Area" select : "QuickTime to open mms"

6. Close your the Firefox preferences

Firefox will now open streaming videos using QuickTime.
